The Asian-Americans are beside the African - Americans and Hispanic - Americans a minority group in the USA. The censur of the year 2000 shows, that the USA has 281,2 million habitants. Therefreom are 12 million ( 5%) asian-americans
Most of the Asian - Americans are residents in the fediral states California, New York and Hawaii. Five million asian-americans are living in california. Mainly there are in Los Angeles ( 1,686 ml.) ,and in San francisco( 970.000). New York has a population of 1,4 million asian-americans (year 2007) and Hawaii a population of 876,156 %(year 2000)
They settled to the United States to get a higher standart of living,particularly to get better emplyments , a better education and to to have liberty.
