The sea wasp is a kind of jellyfish.
They live up to 88 days. The stitches are very painful. The human can die from them. T herefore they are known as the most poisonous creature in the world.
Since 1884, 64 people have died from the stitches in Australia. From O ctober to M ay they are most common. It has about 15 tentacles in each side and weighs about 2 kg. Their food consists of small fish and prawns.
They occur in the tropical and subtropical ocean and in the Atlantic as well as the E ast P acific Oc e a n.
The se a w asp is faster than other jellyfish. She swims 6 meters in the minute.
Their natural enemies are: crab, butterfish and some turtles.
