Stephenie Meyer`s `The Host` Movie has got its release date!


Good news for all “The Host“ fans! The movie production started in February 2012 in Louisiana and New Mexico and on March 29, 2013 we can admire the result on the big screens!
The movie is based on a science fiction/romance novel written by Stephenie Meyer, best known for her vampire romance series Twilight.

The story plays sometime in the future: An invasion from outer space happens and almost all people will be occupied by the so-called “souls”, who take over the human body and extinguish their personality. Only a few people resist and survive outside the civilization. One of them is Melanie. But one day she is captured and the soul „Wanderer“ takes over her body. But Wanderer can not displace her mind completely and so Melanie can influence Wanderers behavior. Melanie tries to find her beloved Jared (also a survivor) and through her intense feelings for him, these also occur slowly at Wanda…
 But I do not want to reveal too much. Read the book or wait until next year.
The main role of Melanie / Wanderer will play Saoirse Ronan (conspicuous by “Hannah”) and directed by Andrew Niccol and Stephenie Meyer as producer - This film can only be a success!
