englisch-gedichte interpretieren

hey..ich schreibe bald ne Klasur und wir hatten das garnicht im unterricht deswegen hab ich mir mal n gedicht ausgesucht und es interpretiert..wäre nett wenn ihr mir sagen könntet was falsch ist, bzw. was ich besser machen kann :)

also das gedicht : Philip Larkin - This Be The Verse

They fuck you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.

But they were fucked up in their turn
By fools in old-style hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another`s throats.

Man hands on misery to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can,
And don`t have any kids yourself.

The poem This be the verse by Philiph Larkin is written in 1974 from High Windows. In his poem Philiph Larkin describes the relationship between parents and her children. The poem has three verses and each of them has four lines.
Line one goes on in line two, who unterlines the concern about the opinions from their children. The pause in line three make the reader to think about the parents. In line eleven the poet write ,, Get out as early as you can" , so i think this ia a verse of ironie. The poet describes parents in a positive way, but i think he donŽt means it serious, because in his title he wrote:,, This be the verse"! All in all i would like to say that i dont like this poem, because i dont think so about my parents. i dislike the way of his sentences. But the rhyme scheme ist good.
